• Madison Area Transgender Association (MATA)
MATA’s mission is to provide the educational, spiritual, intellectual, and peer support needed when a transgender person is in need of information, direction, support, or referral. Confidentiality is our #1 rule for our message boards, groups, and meetings. The main goal is to provide a safe, private place for anyone who con- siders themselves transgender...to meet, dress, socialize, discuss and help with one’s everyday issues and problems in a peer support setting or one-on-one. We are and will remain loyal to the whole LGBTIQ community, while we strive to better our part in the transgender community. We have several support groups including the Mad- ison Crossdressers and Madison Transgender Support Group. Meetings take place at OutReach.
